"Education is our greatest opportunity to give an irrevocable gift to our children"- Ernie Fletcher

What's the right age for this program?
The skills taught at Think A+ improve a student's thinking and learning abilities. Students can enroll as early as class 1. It's always preferable to start young and begin developing skills early to get the greatest cumulative benefit.

Do Think A+ programs address "Lag" needs or "Lead" needs of students?
Think A+ helps students move to their next level of achievement. We work with students who need to catch up, as well as those who are seeking enrichment. Our goal is for all students to opportunities to reach their full potential.

Why is Think A+ such an effective complement to my child's schooling?
There are two reasons why Think A+ best complements the efforts at school:
- Schools focus more on curriculum than on development of learning and thinking skills. It is quite possible that your child may have missed some of these vital skills that are needed to do well in school and later in professional life.
- Schools must cover material according to age or grade, and classes must advance as a group. Needless to say, not all children grasp all concepts at the same pace. Think A+ allows the individual needs and abilities of each child to govern his or her own progress. This enables students to perform at 100% of their potential.

My child is a Grade A (or 85%) student in school. How will my child benefit from this program?
It is good news that your child is doing well at school right now. We are sure that you will like your child to keep achieving the same or even higher levels in future. Imagine the basic skills in comprehension, mathematics and language as building blocks. Once these basic skill blocks are firmly in place, the student builds a strong foundation of "Learning and Thinking Skills". This ensures that the student is developing an understanding of the subject and is not learning through 'rote-method' or memorizing.

In earlier classes, the student can still do well by memorizing and reproducing without really understanding the concepts. Hence, weak foundation skills often don't affect school performance until students are faced with more advanced concepts in higher classes. By then, the problem has grown and the underlying cause - the gap in the foundation - may go undetected. This is what we, at Think A+, want to avoid for your child.

We first do a thorough assessment of your child to find out if he or she should be doing better on any of these skills. In most cases, we find that there are a few areas in which the student should be doing better in order to exploit the complete potential. We then work on that area to make sure that the student moves to the next level of achievement while moving to higher classes. Further, we have programs in the area of creative and critical thinking that develop generative and judgment skills in students.

How soon can I see a change in my child's performance?
Our methodology is aimed at strengthening the foundation and not meant to be a "quick-fix" solution. We encourage parents to keep their children enrolled for a minimum of 33 hours before judging the effectiveness of the program. We guarantee that your child will move at the least 1 level up after 33 hours of instruction on a particular skill. However, Think A+ recognizes that each child is unique in terms of the pace of learning and your child could complete a level faster.

Is Think A+ similar to tutoring?
Our methodology facilitates self-acquisition of the 'learning and thinking skills' needed to improve academic performance. This empowers students to succeed on their own, giving them a sense of accomplishment that fosters further achievement in school and beyond. Will my child get personal attention?
The distinct advantage of Think A+ is that our instruction is delivered across the table on a one-on-one basis. This type of face-to-face interaction ensures students will have their questions and needs addressed effectively. At Think A+, there is no pressure of being "left behind", as might occur in a large-group setting.

How much time does my child need to spend at Think A+?
Most students need to attend our classes twice a week. The exact duration of the course depends on the gap between the existing skills level of the student and the desirable level. We guarantee that the student will move at the least 1 level up by the end of 33 hours of instruction on a particular skill.

How long does a Think A+ program last?
The exact length of your child's tutoring program will depend on the specific needs uncovered in the Skills Assessment and your goals for your child.

How much does Think A+ cost?
Your investment in this program can range from Rs 500 to Rs 2000 per month depending on the needs of your child.
